Have a great day and a great week.
I have been Missing In Action for a while. I have been caught up in a project that I've been working on, plus a house we rent out was trashed my our renter. It took three and a half months to get her out and a loss of thousands of dollars that we won't ever get back. So needless to say I felt like I have been running in the same spot without making any headway.
I always try to stay positive, but everyone has times when life just seems to bog them down. I was in that spot. I was beginning to have thoughts like "when is this ever going to stop", "how are we ever going to get this house situation under control". etc, etc.
It was right then that I realized I was doing all this to myself. I was asking all the wrong questions. I started asking "What can I do to get this house under control", and "What can I do to get myself back to where I belong"? It was then that I wrote each question down, and took time to think what I can do in a positive way to resolve each issue. I am happy to say that this put my mind in a much better place. After taking time to address each problem, I could see my issues aren't that hugh on an individual basis, but seemed like a mountain when all grouped together.
So now when I start to get bogged down, instead of getting frustrated, I start asking myself "What can I do"?
PS: The house situation resolved itself. We were approached by someone who wanted to purchase it. We only purchased this house nine months ago, but we doubled our money when we sold it.
